Dear Connie: You are very kind to offer assistance vis-a-vis any connection of the David Shelby, b 1792, PA, who married a Jane McCafferty in Mason County, KY, to the McCaffertys under your review. This one has befuddled me now for almost 15 years. Perhaps Abraham's lineage will offer a clue. I have not visited Bracken County. Good luck and thanks again.
