I am seeking information regarding the parentage of my ancestor, John McCall, who was born 1807 in South Carolina and died 1893 in Buffalo, Missouri, where he practiced medicine for many years. He married Jane (Jency) A. Blackshear in Tennessee in 1835. They had 12 children. According to family lore, he was of Scottish descent. Any information would be appreciated.
