I'm sorry, but I don't recognize any of these names. My maternal grandmother was a McCallister, but her father lived in Pt. Pleasant, WVA. I knew preacher Hutchinson and his son Everett, but that's all.

I am looking for any one who may have information about him He had a wife named Mary in Wayne County Missouri. I just found out my GGgrandmother Arbazina and her twin Arty born in 1865 who were raised by James Logan when Mary married him around 1869(?). 1870 census shows James Logan with Mary in Logan Township, Wayne Co Mo. I have also found out that when James married her she had 9 children but only the twins living with them. Later in life Arbazina took on the last name of Logan but her death certificate shows McCallister.

Ethel Chandler McCalliste 2002, ao Kr, 91, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Dec. 30, 2002, in Sunbridge Nursing Home, Dunbar, with family by her side.
She was a true pioneer woman who knew how to live off the land. Although she endured hard times in her life, she managed to overcome it all. There will never be another like her.
Mrs. McCallister was preceded in death by her sons, Darrell and Phillip McCallister, daughter, Violet Deel, and granddaughters, Kathy Walker and Kathy Jean McCallister.

they had moved to Gwinnett County, Georgia.
There is a Woodland Church there in Atlanta, Ga.
off Moreland Ave. that a church was started by A
Smith He hasf a Daughter Laura that married A
relative of mine . A William E. Mcallister. Are these

Looking for any info on Hugh's family (parents, siblings, children).
We know names of his 3 wives: Susan Hess (died about 1836), Mary Polly Lillie Holliday (died about 1853), Catherine Lee Houghan (supposedly a niece to General Lee).
We know 8 of the nearly 20 children he fathered: Hugh, Mary Polly, William, John, Alice Ann, Easter Ellen, George Washington, Marie Teresa.
We know he and his wives & children lived in the following states: OH (1820's-1830's), IN (1830's-1850's), MO (1860's), IA (1860's-1880's).
Hugh died in Iowa county, IA in 1882 and is buried in Pilot Grove Cemetery.

Hugh served in the War of 1812 for an OH regiment.

Diane “Dee” Novak, 75, longtime resident of Apple Valley, passed away on May 23, 2006.
Dee was born in Rutland, Vt., to Bertha and Samuel McCallister, who are both deceased. Dee was married for 18 years to her loving husband, Dr. Edward J. Novak, who passed away in 1989.
She is survived by her sister, Lorene Patch of Tewksbury, Mass.; four nieces and two nephews.
Dee diligently served as vice chairman on the board of directors for Victor Valley Community Hospital, and was an avid member of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts and High Desert Stitchers. She also managed various horse shows across the country.
Private services will be held at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood, Fla.
Dudley Apple Valley Mortuary is handling arrangements.
Dee was loved and will be missed by many.

b: abt 1840, I don't know where. According to Eliza Jane Armstrong's marr. app. In Carroll Co., In. her mother was Catharine and her father was John Armstrong. Eliza was born in Rush Co., In.1857. John and Catharine don't show up on any census. Any help on Catharine would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

NELSON A. McCALLISTER, general hardware store and dealer in agricultural implements, Muscoda; born in Putman Co., Ohio, and came to Wisconsin with his parents in 1850. They located on a farm in the town of Pulaski, Iowa Co., where his parents now live. He came to Muscoda in 1869, and established his present business. He enlisted Aug. 14, 1862, in Co. A, 33d W. V. I.; served with the regiment during its term of service, and mustered out with them at Vicksburg Aug. 9, 1865.

I have tracked the McCallister's back to Ireland via the internet. How accurate it is, I can't say. I have found several mistakes of what I know in my lifetime.
Cynthia was Richard's 2nd wife. Richard(DOB 1792)was the son of Richard(DOB 1756), and he had two sons with his 1st wife Sarah which were named Richard Anderson and Richard Andrew. I wonder if there was only 1 son, seeing that the middle name is so similar.
Richard(1792)had a daughter named Cynthia Jane (DOB 1823)with Sarah, then married a Cynthia in 1858, and they had a daughter named Cynthia Ann (DOB Sept 1860). I am still researching, but that's it so far.

hi, I am clyde and hazel's granddaughter. grandpa died in 77 and grandma died in 79. my father is clyde and hazel's son. He died last july 9th in a house fire. I have 2 sister's, judy and margaret, and 3 brothers, darrell, ralph, and rick mccallister. I live in south carolina, close to myrtle beach.My dad's name was james b. Mccallister. Dad has 2 sisters, aunt barbara, and elaine. Can you give me ANY information about Dessa? My husband is Charles Thacker. Dessa would have been his great grandmother. We are trying to put our family tree together, but can't find any information about her. I believe she was married to Charles Wilson Thacker and had 2 children, Hobart and Cecil.
