James McCarthy of Killorglin/Gleesk in the 1820's-1900's

Classification: Query
Surnames: McCarthy
My great great grandfather James McCarthy was born in Killorglin in the 1820's and swapped farms with a cousin, landing in Gleesk before the great famine in the 1840's - at the time the Griffith Valuation shows the extensive property (overlooking the current Gleesk Pier!) My great grandfather Patrick McCarthy of Gleesk, born in the 1840's and married to Mary Kirby in the 1870's, had 11 children from 1870's-1900's...of which my grandfather Michael was in the middle(emigrated to the US in 1914 and had my father John in 1927). I am looking for details on James' family/wife (might be Catherine Luony?) and many other ancesters and relatives!
