Jim,

Sorry, didnt men to take so long to write back.. I got your McCarver stuff. and found somethings I didnt have. But All the William McCarvers did not match my william, I hav researched them all over the years. The William R. McCarver, son of William and Nancy, sounds really good. but was said he and 3 or 4 of his brothers and Him lost thire lives in the civil war. I guess a small chance is still there, but so hard to prov... I did find a small piece of info., My William state in a small Doc. he was born in Warren Co., TN. There is a mass confusion on exactly who all the children belong to John C. McCarver and Juda Mooneyham of Warren Co., Tenn.
The last known child is Juda Mccarver born 1832 in Warren Co., TN. My William was born in 1833 Warren Co., Tenn.
His Son Campbell brother of John C. Mccarver would be a great person for Father to my william. But he has a son born 1843 named William.
Campbells other brother Nathaniel is another canidate, but shows no William as a son.
Jim, Thanks for your help, and all hints are important to me thanks again
CUZ BILL

Evelyn,
My grandmother was Ida Ensley who married Leonard
Bert Patterson. She passed away in 99. I believe my mother has the info on Abner marrying in 1895. We may be talking about two different Ensley's. Abner also had a brother that was admitted to the Milledgeville Hospital. Is this the same Ensley you are researching?

Cheryl

In the 1880 census, WW Christian is living in the JL McCarver household and listed as a nephew.
Apparently Polly and William's parents died young with some relation to the McCarver family. Trying to determine connection and how they fit into the many Christian families in the area.
William later went by William Christy.

I don't have any information on parents of William W. except he is from Tenn according to Census records. Closer examination of Tippah Co. Miss area, much of which is now Tishomingo Co. could give some clues. I believe some of his brothers also were there. Some McCarvers stayed in that area. They were in the Ripley Twp.
