I read your post on acestory.com in regards to the family history of Charles W. McCauley. I am actually a great-grandson of Charlie W. McCauley. My Grandfather was Gilbert Thomas McCauley and my father is Richard Michael McCauley.

I am in the process of researching my family history.

From my understanding someone about 5-10 years ago spent quit a bit of time researching the history and heirship of Charlie W. McCauley. My father is getting me the contact info. of that individual. I will be happy to pass it on to you if it is needed.

Also Gilbert Thomas McCauley was dec'd in 1981 not 1975.
