Anyone with connections to Henry McLain (McClane) or any families in the area. I have been tracking down the McLains of my paternal line in Kilbride, Kilcoursey, Offaly. Henry McLain was born 1831 in Clara, Kilbride and married Anna Ellis in 1865. They emigrated soon after that, but I looked up their parents in Griffith's and found them as "McClane"s, as well as the 1826 Tithe Applotment books and found them as "McClane" so if anyone gets to that area, please contact me.
