Rex Eugene McCollough, 55, of Huntsville died on May 29, 1984 at Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 11, 1928 in Dinsmore, the son of Dexter Samuel and Lillie (Allred) McCollough. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudie Vay McCollough. He is survived by a daughter, Debbie Ferguson of Huntsville; a sister, Ruby Gurley of Greenfield, California; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Garrison officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery.
