McCommons, Edward A.; William; Benjamin L. or Lewis B.

According to the 1880 census of Halls Cross Roads, MD, these gentlemen were all born within a couple of years of each other and all shared the same occupation, cooper. Would anyone have any idea if they are siblings or somehow related.

Desparate to find a family connection!

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, I have not found "George" in our lineage. My McCommons family is mostly from Harford County, Maryland.

Hi,
I recently bought a farmhouse outside of Havre De Grace MD (closer to Churchville)that was built in 1840. While doing rennovations found 1/2 a postcard addressed to McCommons in Level MD. I believe the postmark was 1901. If you're interested I'll scan both sides and send you a copy.

I am looking for information on George McCommons who was son of William McCommons and Margaret Nancy White. George McCommons is my great grandfather on my mother's side. It appears that George was probably born in either Center or Clinton County, PA. If you have anything in your files, I would be interested.
