I've been working on my family line for many years, and continue to hit a dead end. The story goes that our McCormick's are related to the McCormick's that invented the Reaper. Our side of the McCormick line has died out, but I would like to make the connection with other McCormicks. My gggrandmother was Mary Ellen McCormick, whose father was William McCormick died 9 May 1871 at the age of 55 and was born in Dublin, Ireland. His brother is buried by him Patrick McCormick died 19 Dec. 1892 he was age 60 also born in Dublin, Ireland. William's wife was Mary Ann NALLEN died Sept. 26, 1888 at the age of 70.
