I am descended from 2 McCrackens. John married Margaret Patton, the dtr. of Mary McCracken, granddaughter of Anthony McCracken, who is believed to have immigrated from Ireland. Mary McCracken was born ca. 1734 in Hamiltonbann, York Co., Pa. She had a brother James and sisters Rebecca and Elizabeth.
