I have information that Emma McCracken was born 2/5/1876. She married Antonio Acosta of Nacogdoches, Tx. and had a son, Huey(or Hugh)on March 17, 1887 in Travis County, Tx. Her death certificate lists her father as John McCracken. Her son Huey's birth certificate lists her birthplace as Ft. Worth, Tx. but I haven't been able to confirm that. I've found a lot of inconsistancies in the information provided by family members on birth and death certificates. Thanks for any hints about where else to look.
