Looking for Information on John McCracken. Married Mary Batson. Had Nancy McCracken, she is my g-g-greatgrandmother. John is a son of William McCracken. Any information would be very helpful.

Sorry, no birth on William McCracken. All I know is that he had a son John McCracken who married Mary Batson. They had a daughter named Nancy McCracken, she married John N Sharp. Nancy and John are my GGGGrandparents.

Happened to see your posting. If this help are if you are interested in sharing, please e-mail. Have been working on the McCracken tree for over a year and have about 800 names related thereto. We have a William Kelsey McCracken, b. 1807 d. 1875 who had a son John McCracken b. abt 1840 d. 1857. No other record.

William's oldest child was born 10 Aug 1774. This family was most likely in the NW New Jersey area, possibly in adjacent PA. William's granddaughter, Nancy McCracken lived in Morris Co NJ, other grandchildren may have been in Warren Co. NJ.

William, I just started on McCracken and have no info. to speak of. Henry McCracken bn 7/21/12? his father was:Andrew Jackson McCracken? died about 1950? possibly from Kingsport Tn, died in Ky. Any clue would be appreciated Thanks, Pat

(I've got descendant info for most of these people, I'm descended from Martha McCracken and Percy Wiley)
