In researching our McCracken family tree, I found a Delorm (sometimes written as Delema) McCracken that was living in Ohio, but it doesn't appear to be a match for your Del McCracken. This Delorm was married in Ohio on 4/13/1852, and he would have been born around 1822, so the age doesn't match. But, this name is so unusual, that I wondered if it was related. The Delorm that I found was married to a Mary Jackson. Do you know if the McCracken's you are researching, would have been in Ohio before going to Iowa? I am up against a brick wall, once I get to my great, great grandfather McCracken. My line of McCracken's supposedly had alot of James Edwards and Edwards James in them. If you have come across any of those, please let me know. Thanks!!
