Jody MCCRACKIN
Jodie (a.k.a. Jody) MCCRACKIN was born in Pineapple, Alabama, November 29, 1927, to John and Georgia Green MCCRACKIN, both of whom are deceased. Jody graduated from Snow Hill High in Snow Hill, Alabama. He spent fourteen years in the U.S. Army and was discharged as a Sergeant Major. He graduated from Alabama A. & M. College and received a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Xavier University in Ohio and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Yale. Jody was active in politics and held the rank of Past Master in the Prince Hall Masons. He came from a large family of six brothers and two sisters: John
Jr., Richard, Macarthur, Bennie, Glen, James, Vivian and Elizabeth. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Mary; brothers Macarthur and Bennie; sister Elizabeth; two children, Theresa GRIGSBY and Errol JOHNSON; one daughter-in-law, Joan JOHNSON; two grandchildren, Marcus and Erin JOHNSON and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2000, 1:00 p.m. at Bleitz Funeral Home, 316 Florentia St., Seattle. Arrangements were arranged through
