I am looking for the parents of my g-g-grandfather, William Robert McCrady, b. 1828, (possibly in Ireland), d. 1906, buried with his wife, Susannah (Bice) Davis, at Louther Chapel Cemetery, Roane County, West Virginia. William lived in Harrison County, VA, (now WV) before settling in Roane County. Records seem to indicate that William set foot on American soil in Boston, 1849. Can anyone substantiate? There is a possibility that Williams's mother was named Sarah and that she lived in New York, (exact location unknown.)
