I am looking for information on this person. This is my g-grandfather on my mother's side. He live in Sumter County, South Carolina and from what I have gathered was in the area about 1840. He was born in 1821 and was from born in Ireland from some sources. I did find some information that he was left in Georgia an an infant as his parents could not raise him, as his father died that year and his mother was in no condition to raise him.
