Looking for ancestors of Essie McCree (McCray) who married Campbell (aka Cameron and Cam) King about 1892. They had 8 known children, Eunice (Unice), Fred (Freddie), Harry, Edith, Roy, Lucy, Ada, and Lester (my father, b. 9-3-12; d. 12-25-75). They resided in Mecklenburg County, Long Creek Township, North Carolina from as early as 1900 until at least 1920. Essie, however, is believed to have died sometime between 1910 and 1920, as Cam King is listed as a widowerer in the 1920 census. Any help will be appreciated.
