I have been researching the McCrory's for several months now and have a found a lot of confusion regarding John McCrory and who they married and when. I have (3) 1850 census reports for each marriage.

1. John McCrory(born abt 1807 in Tennessee) and Sarah Herrin had the following children in 1850:
Artumitia, Elizabeth, Harriet, Mary Jane, Parmelia Agnes, and William. The information I got from a obit for Harriet McCrory Sellers says she the daughter of John and Sarah Herrin. John's father was James McCroy (married to Ann)and grandfather was James McCrory (married to Jane Gilmore)

2. John McCrory(born 1808 in SC) and Eleanor Parker had the following children in 1850:
Annie R.,Cyrus G.,John, Stanton S B, Susan J. and Thomas J.

3. John McCrory (born abt 1810 in Tennessee) and Elizabeth had the following children in 1850:
Enoch, James, John Enoch, Letty, Mary, Thomas, William. This is my line and my great, great, great grandfather.

I hope this information will help fellow researchers and can help fill in some blank spots in those trees. I also hope that some trees can get fixed.
