Who is Billy McCue (b. 1921); lived in San Carlos, CA 1930?

Billy McCue showed up as an "adopted son" of Stephen McCue and Catherine Herlihy McCue on a 1930 Census record for San Carlos, CA (San Mateo Co.). I cannot locate any other record or family history of him. Does anyone have any leads?

Hi Do you know where in Ireland Thomas was born my GG Grandmother was Alice Mc Cue and she was born in Lobinstown Co. Meath in 1835 - I have found a Thomas McKew listed in the same parish born in 1830 and also a Thomas McHugh born in 1833 again the same parish. I don't know if this helps at all but if you think there is a link please contact me.

My great-great-great-grandmother was Mary McCue. She was married in NY around 1830something to a Joseph Laisure. They lived in St. Lawrence County, NY. Then moved to Marinette County, WI. Their son, Joseph, married a Julia Ann McCue. She and her children died in the great Peshtigo fire. Joseph and Mary are buried in the cemetery in Harmony. Hope this is helpful. Karen

I have no verifiable information about his siblings. Peter was born in County Meath in May of 1832. He arrived in this country alone in September of 1847, at the age of 15. I have no record of any family following or preceding him. He had no daughters named Alice. Very sorry!

Hi I see it has been a while since you posted your message however hopefully you will see this. I am wondering if you know if your Peter had any siblings my gggrandmother was called Alice McCue she married Patrick Carolan in 1863 in Beauparc Co. Meath unfortunately that is all I know of her. On her marriage record her name was spelt McKew however on all of their childrens birth records it was spelt McCue. If you know anything at all I would appreciate any help. My research is ongoing and I have mainly focused on the Carolan side but if I do uncover any additional info I will post it here. Regards Lyndsay.

My McHugh's @ Drumnaraw were related to the McHugh's in Drumnakillew. I'm also related to the Trearty's in Drumnacarry,along with the O'Donnell's and Gallagher's.
My GG Aunt Margaret McHugh m Hugh Gallagher c 1868, 1st child a daughter Rose/a born 18 Novemeber.1869 @ Drumnaraw.
Hugh and Margaret emigrated to Allegheny PA and are listed on 1880 Census for Allegheny..

The site that had listings of those residing on the townland was helpful but it was especially interesting to see the map and compare the parcels in relation. Now when we return we can better find the are.

I just popped back in to see if there were any further posts and honestly can't remember if I saw or replied to Cindy's last post.
Just a little update and additional information: William Price and Edit Pearl were my great-grandparents. My father was William Price. My mother (Dee) was Vera Elizabeth Sharpenberg. Dad passed April 2001 and Mom in September 2001. The children's names are William Price McCue Jr, Jay Warren McCue, Roberta Ann McCue Hewett, and Mary Esther McCue Hansen.

Hi Kathleen , do you mean Drumnakillew..? If yes, we may well be related.
Drumnakillew is situated in Clondahorky Parish (Dunfanaghy Creeslough area)
My McHugh's aka McCue's are from the next townland (next door basically) to Drumnakillew.. pronounced Drumnakilley, in the Townland of Drumnaraw.

I have information on your Neil McCue. He was the brother of my GGG-grandfather Constantine.

My wife Helena's grandmother was Ellen Lacey born Co. Galway Ireland in 1890.Ellen's sister Bridget born c1881 also known as Delia Leasy,moved to Renton Scotland with the whole Lacey family in the late 1890's,Bridget then went to Homestead PA ,USA in 1904,married a Patrick McCue in 1911.They had at least four children Mary, Edward, Margaret and Anna. Bridget's brother Mark also went to Homestead in 1912, he never married and spent his life living with McCue's and working in the Carnegie steel works, he returned to Dumbarton Scotland in the late 1960's and died there in 1970.I am trying to establish contact with the remaining McCue's.I am sure that they are out there somewhere,

Hi...we have corresponded before. I found my McHugh/McCue families with your help. We found them on the Griffith Valuation residing on their townland of Drimnakilew, Dunkineely, Donegal. I think it is possible we are related but my family is from Parish Inver not Clondahorky.

Nice to hear from you again. I have not found anything new with my McHughs.

Hello, My Mchugh's are from nj. I have an Owen who married mildred. His first name was at once believed to be thomas. But no the case. They have a few children that I know of Thomas Mchugh, Walter Mchugh, Hazel Mchugh. All children born in the early 1900's. Mchugh side is said ti have come from ireland. My tree is public. Look under Stephens Family tree and you will find them.

Hi Cousin. My name is David Wayne McCue. I am the second son of John Everett McCue.I also am looking for the idenity of the parents of our grandfather William McCue. I have a book of the history of Monroe County the has a picture of Mud Slash School in 1922 that includes eight of our aunts and uncles including Hulet. It covers 1820 to 1988 and it lists a Albert McCue as a saddlemaker. My mother told me that Williams middle name was Albert. She also told me She thinks your father was born March 12, 1920 and his wifes name was Carol. I would like to talk and share information

you may be related to the mccue family from mongahealy,pennsylvania...there is a place called emerald hill or demon house with pretty strange history of hauntings and but the family that lived there was named carla mccue from scotland. i belong to a ghost hunting group and just returned from there. the place is beauitful but has now been used as a halloween haunted house but the actual house is haunted. google demon house or emerald hill and you can find out more on the history. hope this helps you in your search cheers, jami
