I didn't know about the five brothers either. can you list them with whatever birth date you have. It's these lists that will hepl us all out in the long run.
I haven't done a lot on this family in about a year but I did find three men in the 1790 census for what used to be Washington territory (county) PA.( had to look at Pa census on line, not on Ancestry) one of them is my grandfather... I am leaning with Archibald but I have no proof. the name Jethro does not show on that census or on the 1800. so it must be a nick name. and of course thats the name that I have to go on. Thanks to everyone who replied here the web is slowly becoming untangled.
