I am looking for information on the McDorman (or MacDorman) family in New York state. I don't know where that part of our family came to NY from. My grandmother's name was Marietta Corrine McDorman (I'm not sure if I'm spelling the last name correctly as I've seen it spelled both ways). Her parents were Michael McDorman and Cecelia Ann Andrews. I believe they were from the Wayne County/Cayuga County area. I think there are some distant relatives in Wolcott still but it's been many years since I last researched this I have lost all my information. I am now starting over. If anyone has any information they would be willing to share on this line of the family, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
