Hi!

I found an email for you in one of your posts and dropped you a message. I hope it goes through!

Here's a little something, in case you don't have it...

Flanders ME Church Centennial, p. 118:

"In the early history of the church we find the names of Samuel and Mary Woodruff, who took a deep interest in all the concerns of the church. They were distinguished for many excellent traits of character, such as faithful attendance upon the means of grace, liberal contributors for the general expense of the church, earnest in prayer, mighty in faith, holy in their lives and victorious in their death. Those who knew them, speak this of their noble lives."

Cheryl :o)
I know nothing else of my McDougal relatives. I've never been to the cemetary there as I didn't know about this cemetary until recently and I now live in SW Georgia. My mother's father was Ralph Powell with McLeary, McDowell, Curry, Mason, Alexander, Nunns (from NC) and Halls and Spence()r from Delaware and West Virginia.
Don't know if there is a connection with your McDougals?

Hi all! I have a Lost and Found on my website, where I post items that MAY be possible for people to link to their families. Since I've come across a McDOUGAL, I thought I'd post and try to find it a home.

The item is a Warranty Deed dated January 31, 1928 in the State of Wisconsin, Douglas County. William McDOUGAL signed it as the Register of Deeds.

I AM trying to sell it, but only for the price I paid for it plus shipping - and if you don't want to buy it, you can still take a copy of it from the site, free. You can see it at http://annalovesbooks.com/lostfound8.html and the entire Lost and Found at http://annalovesbooks.com/genealogy.html

Thanks!
Anna

I believe I have found new information that indicates Lorene Spears mother's name was Zella Spears (not Zella McDougal) and that her mother was a Frances McDougal who married George W. Spears. Found George, Frances and Ammazella Spears on the 1880 Lawrence Co., TN census. Located Frances, Ammazella and Willie E. Spears on the 1990 Lawrence Co., TN census. Willie E., I hope, is Lorene Elizabeth Spears and Ammazella is Zella. Its a stretch but the dates fit perfectly.

Any information would be greatly appreicated.

Thanks, Julie
