I have an Elizabeth McDougall born c1853 Gateshead Tyne and Wear in my family tree.
On 25 December she married George Waite Brett in St Mary's Church Gateshead.
Her father is listed on her marriage cert as Alexander McDougall, a Shoemaker.
I am unable to find out any other info about Elizabeth and her family from before her wedding.
