Hi, I was wondering if anyone has found spelling changes to McGeachen. This was my mother's maiden name and we're having a lot of difficulty tracing back, possibly because it's spelled wrong? Her Grandfather was Thomas McG?eachen, who emigrated to the US from Scotland before 1885. He and his children settled in the Newark NJ/Bloomfield NJ area. Any information or leads are welcome, no matter how far-fetched they may seem! Thanks! Meg
