Daniel Cornelius McEachin was not a slave. He married Harriet Dyal,a widow of James Wiley.She was daughter of George Dyal and Sarah Polk. She had a son before she married James Wiley by a slave named Robert Williamson but he went by his mother's name Dyal. His name was James Nathanial(called "Samp)Dyal.
Samp married Martha Westbury. They had a son named George Washington who married Emma Florence McEachen the daughter of Daniel McEachin and his second wife Mary Etta Dyal.
