Ok...so I believe Joseph and Jane to be the parents of George James McElhaney (born 1803) who married Elizabeth Lindsay. I've looked at census info from 1790 to 1840 and this is what I've come up with. I know that it's a work in progress as I'm not sure about the two sons that I don't have names for with the reliability of census info. Any suggestions or additions are welcome. I'm also trying to connect this line to William McElhaney (born abt 1728) and his son George (born 1753) who married Martha Stringer. Thanks!
