I am researching the McEvoy family who settled in Joliet and Troy Townships in Will County, Illinois in the early 1840's. The four brothers Michael, James, John and William built
a Wool Carding Mill off the Dupage River. Michael McEvoy married Ann Ingoldsby and had my gg grandfather John McEvoy.
Any information on this family would be appreciated, especially on the three brothers John, James and William.
