McEwan golf club and ball makers of Scotland and England

Surnames: McEwan
McEwans began making golf clubs in Scotland in about 1780 and continued thru at least the eary 1900's. Family names include Peter, Douglas and William. Does anyone know more about this line? Any living relatives?
