Robert's son Joseph stabalized our spelling to McKune at the time of American Revolution. Out family history states that Robert came to America from Glasgow, Scotland in 1754. I just can't get beyond that. Joseph's brother Robert's history states that this Robert came to America in 1762.
If he came in 1762 then he would have definetly had a son, Robert, and possible son Joseph had just been born.
Does anyone have research that goes back to Scotland with a Robert that dissapears around these dates?
Thank you.
