I am searching for information on Duncan McFarland of VA who was married to Elizabeth Anne Porter and had a son named William. According to posts and pedigrees that I have seen on this site Duncan supposedly emigrated from Weter county Ireland. According to the National Library of Ireland, Weter never existed as a county or a town. I am trying to locate the original source of this information to verify their sources.
