Mary Ann McFeeters was born July 24, 1851, and departed this life August 9, 1915, aged 64 years and 15 days. She was the eldest daughter of John and Martha McFeeters. She gave her heart to God and her life to the Master’s cause by uniting with the Methodist church at Stone Chapel in 1874 and removed her name by letter to Satterfield’s C. U. Chapel in 1887. She lived a consistent Christian life, always ready to give her best efforts for the upbuilding of the Master’s kingdom.

She was of a kind disposition and to know her was to love her. She will be greatly missed in the community, and in the church where she loved so well to be. Father and mother preceeded her in death some years ago. She leaves to mourn their loss, three sisters, Miss Maggie McFeeters, Mrs. J. H. Young, Mrs. C. L. Spohn and a large circle of relatives and friends. We know that our loss is her gain.
Her voice on earth we’ll hear no more
Her smile no more we’ll see,
Till over on the golden shore
Together we will be.
