Looking for information concerning Harrison McFerron born in IN in 1836. Several spellings include: McFarrin (KY 1870 census & my grandfather's birth certificate), McFerron (war dept records, KY mounted Infantry, and headstone) and McFerrin (present). His wife's name was Eliza born & married in KY. Woman 30 years older than him was living with family in KY named Elizabeth; possibly his mother. Discovered a Harrison McFerron, 84, d. June 6, 1898 burried in Hartford City IN Cemetary. This is not my Harrison BUT could possibly be his father??? Looking for any information to make that connection or any other connection.
