Harrison McFerron, b.1836 Indiana

Looking for information concerning Harrison McFerron born in IN in 1836. Several spellings include: McFarrin (KY 1870 census & my grandfather's birth certificate), McFerron (war dept records, KY mounted Infantry, and headstone) and McFerrin (present). His wife's name was Eliza born & married in KY. Woman 30 years older than him was living with family in KY named Elizabeth; possibly his mother. Discovered a Harrison McFerron, 84, d. June 6, 1898 burried in Hartford City IN Cemetary. This is not my Harrison BUT could possibly be his father??? Looking for any information to make that connection or any other connection. Harrison also had a brother named Abraham (birthplace & date unknown). My Genealogy homepage is located at: http://home.worldnet.att.net/~paulmcferrin/

I am looking for the name of the husband of Maria (Hezlep) McFerron. Maria was born to Samuel and Jane Hezlep in Banbridge, County Down, Ireland around 1800.

I am also related to Joseph McFerron. I have gathered some information I would be happy to share. My family is centered in Bloomfield, Dexter, (Stoddard County) Missouri. I know there was a Joseph McFerron, Sr. who arrived in Pittsburgh, PA from Ireland about 1790. He had 2 sons that I know of John, who relocated to Illinois and Joseph Jr. who relocated to Stoddard County, Missouri and thus begins our branch of the tree. You can contact me at AFOR224237@AOL.COM for further information.
