We hope you join us for the Fourth Annual McGeehan Reunion. Activities have been planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday,
June 27-29, 2003 in Hazleton, Tamaqua and McAdoo, PA.

5:00pm Friday, June 27, 2003

Mr. Mark Major, Director of the Schuylkill County Visitors’ Bureau, has accepted our invitation to casually speak Friday evening at the
Top of the 80's Restaurant, adjacent to the Hampton Inn in Hazleton. Mark Major has written several historical works, some co-authored by last year’s speaker,
Mr. Howard Crown. Afterward we will exchange genealogical discoveries made over the past year. Dennis McGeehan continues to find lots of information about PA
McGeehans.

Our tour of historic sites in neighboring Tamaqua begins 11AM Saturday. Our plans are to meet the Miss Molly Trolley at the
Mall in nearby Frackville. Among the sites we will tour are the Tamaqua rail depot where the bodies of hanged
Mollies, including Hugh McGeehan, arrived for burial at Summit Hill and Lansford. We will also visit
St. Jerome’s Church, the gravesite of Jack Kehoe and the former mansion of Conny McGeehan while in town.
We hope to visit the nineteenth century blacksmith shop and Tamaqua Historical Society as part of the tour.

Mr. Leo Ward, President of the Schuylkill County Historical Society and author of several books about the county‘s
history, will speak for us after the Saturday evening dinner, location and time tbd.

Sunday, June 28, 2003

Sunday Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church of McAdoo, PA with Mass intentions for the family of Daniel and Mary Boyle McGeehan.
After Mass, we will return to the McAdoo Strand Theater for Sunday brunch. Invited guests will be available to discuss local history during the brunch.

All events are pay as you go and we estimate the total cost for the Miss Molly Trolley tour of Tamaqua, Friday reception,
Saturday dinner and Sunday brunch to be less than $50 per person. We hope you will join us for this year’s events.
Please contact us so we can look for you and advise you of any changes to the schedule.

Sincerely,
