Whose grandchild are you? I'm Margaret, daughter of Mary Slobig, grandaughter of John and Margaret (McGeough) Slobig, great grandaughter of Hugh McGeough. Daughter "Catherine" spelled her name Kathryn, and was known to us as Aunt Kate, she lived in San Diego until her death in the 1970's. My grandmother died in 1956 or thereabouts, also in San Diego; my elder sister would know more. My mother spoke of her aunts frequently before her death last year. We visited Gilberts about 10 years ago and saw Greatgrandmother's farm.
