I need the parents of Charles D. McGhee, who married Mary A. Craddock on 24 May 1858 in Bedford County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Dvid Craddock and Mary T. Ballard. In the 1850 census he was married to a Martha, by whom he had daughters Emma (born 1845) and Charlotte (born 1848). He was living in Campbell County at that time.

My Charles D. was born in 1823 and as near as I can tell spent his whole live in Bedford and Campbell Counties, Virginia. In 1850 he was living in Campbell County, in 1860, Bedford County, and in 1870 until he died, Campbell County. I have traced all of his sons through the census, but haven't looked up marriage records for the girls in Campbell County. There aren't any that make sense for them in the records online at the Bedford Virginia Museum. His widow and 2 of his sons spent their lives in Campbell County
