Samuel Parmley "Sam" McGLOTHIN was the brother just younger than my ancestor, Marah Ann "Mary" McGLOTHLIN CRAIN.
They were the 4th & 5th children of Johnson McGLAUGHLIN, Sr. and Jane "Jenny" GIBSON McGLAUGHLIN/McGlothlin.
Johnson owned land in Hardeman Co., TN near the Gibson Cemetery. Johnson was on the tax rolls of Livingston Co., KY from 1829-1841. Johnson was stabbed and killed in 1846 in Hardeman Co., TN. Johnson may have been killed in a dispute over a horse race. Johnson was in Hardeman Co., TN, by 1844.
Jane died in Hardeman County, TN after 1860.
