My lines go as follows: Dollie Ann (McGrady) Mabry married Sylvester Lee Mabry - her father was Andrew Jackson McGrady (Jr.) married Rebecca Ann Cruise - Andrew Jackson's father was Jackson McGrady (aka Andrew Jackson McGrady, Sr. as listed in some of the census) married Hannah Thompson (my Grandmother has her last name listed as Thompkins - which was given to her by Dollie McGrady) - Jackson's (aka Andrew Jackson, Sr.) father was William McGrady married Lucy Spence (aka Spense on some census records and family books)- William's father
Jacob McGrady married Amiah (unknown maiden name) - Jacob's father was Laughlin McGrady born in Ulster, Northern Ireland and is listed as also living in Wilkes, North Carolina and moved to Bedford County, Virginia from someone on Ancestry they have his wife listed as Mrs. Laughlin McGrady born in Bedford County, Virginia abt 1710 children listed as: Christina, Nancy, Jacob and Mary Polly McGrady. Sometimes back then women were listed as Mrs. and the husbands first and last name which I have found on many of my other family ancestors census. Also on a member of Ancestry someone has Laughlin's father listed as Unknown first name McGrady born in Ulster, Northern Ireland and most likely died there as well born abt 1690 and Unknown Wife. My Grandmother has written some information down years ago and I still have to go through boxes so that I can find what she did have as far as the lineage on the McGrady's. Hope this helps.
