My husband's aunt, Effie May Bower married Rolland Charles McGwin on Jun 11, 1921 at the First Methodist Church, Wykoff, Filmore Co, MN. I don't have a lot on the McGwin family but I do on the Bower family. Can we share?

I guess I never saw your response to my Mc Gwinn/Owens connection. I am still looking for her family. There is basically nothing online. I did find L W Owens and wife Maggie Mc Gwinn Owens on the 1880 census in Erath Co TX. At least I think it is them. Know nothing about her family. Census does say she is born in TN, and according to her age given, she was born about 1844.Would love to connect.

My fathers name is Donald Hugh McGwin. He has (had) a brother named Charles. Both are sons of Rolland McGwin. I have tons of family history available. Let me know if i can help.

The son of Maggie Mc Gwinn and Wash Owens is G G Owens ( aka George Green Owens) probably born in Texas approx 1879.

Do you have any other information on the McGwin side of your husbands family. I have found several names since that posting. I would love to share them with you. Maybe we have a family connection somewhere. Let me know if you have any other names like maybe the name of the grandmothers father. That would help alot. I know how you feel. I just today found one of my husbands gr grandmothers was a Maggie Mc Gwin/Mc Gwinn, and there is very little info online. This Maggie Mc Gwin was married to to a Wash (or L W) Owens, and died in Oklahoma. Her birth place is unknown.She died in the 1870's.

I am looking for any information on this branch of my family. I know that my Grandfathers name was Charles Stephen McGwin and he was married to a Hazel Magaret Miller.
They had 2 dauhgters. Carol Margaret, and Judith Leone. Charles had a brother named Donald Hugh McGwin. Any information would be most helpful. Thank you
