Marriage of Patrick and Annie McHugo

My great grandfather was Patrick McHugo, shown in the 1910 census as living with his wife Annie (my great grandmother) and their children. His age at the time listed as 53, hers as 49. At the time they had been married 24 years.

That is all I can find on either one of them. Can anyone help find more information on Patrick and/or Annie? Marriage date, maiden name, etc?

Thanks,

Tom Emery

I am looking for any information on my great-grandfather Patrick McHugo who came to Vermont (Bennington?) from Ireland sometime in the 1800s. I believe he worked for the railroad.
He may have moved to Blackenton (sp) MA (town does not exist anymore, near North Adams). His son James was my grandfather, he had three other children John, Winifred and Margret. I am just getting started so any help would be appreciated.

My mother was Helena McHugo (1904-1992) from Englishtown, Kiltomer, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Her father John McHugo died Jan 2, 1944 and mother was Ellen Burns. We found some relatives some years ago in the parishes of Killoran and Mullagh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. We also found some unrelated (as best we know) McHugos in Duniry Parish, Loughrea, Co. Galway. While some relatives retain McHugo others use McHugh.

K. O'Sullivan
