Still looking for any details/relatives of Thomas McInnes (1859-1937) who married Isabella McGillivray (1856-1928). Thomas may have been born in Scotland. Thomas and Isabella both died in Toronto. Thomas McInnes’s parents may have been John McInnes and Mary Clapperton both of Scotland. Isabella’s parents were John McGilvray & Mary McEacheron. Isabella was born in Canada.
Thomas and Isabella were married in Victoria County, Eldon Twp., Ont. They lived in the area and had a number of children, Isabell, Mary, Sarah, Allen, Jack, Dougal, Kenneth. Later they moved around the province. Some of Thomas and Isabella’s descendants with the McInnes surname live in Orillia and Owen Sound.
Thomas may have had siblings Flora May McInnes & John McInnes.
I am trying to find more possible descendents and more documentation to prove Thomas came from Scotland.
