I have just come across a Robert McEntire from Culdaff, Donegal, Ireland in passenger lists. He emmigrated on 16th April 1805 from Londonderry to Philadelphia on the ship Brutus and was 22yrs old.

I am about 80% sure he is related to "my" McIntyres, and in other documents from this era have observed this spelling varient. I believe I am descended from his brother Andrew, and have names of parents and siblings. Note this family was epicopalian.
