WAPELLO, Iowa -- Leland Leroy McIntyre, 74, of rural Wapello, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Services will be at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Thomas will officiate. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Wapello Community Ambulance Service.
Mr. McIntyre was born Aug. 5, 1926, near Wapello, the son of Ray Thomas and Anna Watt McIntyre.
He attended Victory Country School and was a retired railroad worker. He was of the Methodist faith. He especially enjoyed his great-nieces and great-nephew.
Survivors include two sisters, Faye Cassabaum and Gertie Cassabaum both of Mediapolis, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Bessie and Hazel; and a brother, Raymond.
