My great-grandmother is Emma Lee Partain (1918-2001). Her father is Albert Floyd Partain (1898-1957) and her mother is Queen Victoria McJunkins (1902-1925) she died from TB when she was 22 in Fulton,GA. Her mother is Maggie Rush (b. 1874) and her father is Sam(Samuel?) McJenkins/McJunkins (b. 1869). On Queen Victoria's record her father's surname is McJenkins but her surname is spelled McJunkins and her brother, Carson McJunkins, the father's surname is written McJunkins, so it could be a simple typo. But does anyone know anything of McJunkins in Georgia in the 1800s? I know nothing of the McJunkins line past my great-great-great grandfather Sam.
I'm also wondering how to get TB records from the 1920s in GA. My great-great grandmother had the nickname Queenie also.
Thanks in advance.
