Hi
I have compiled a 200 year history of the McCain/McKane/McKean family from Donegal, Ireland. McKean is a variation of the original McCain name, and we have some McKean families included in the compilation, from this area. Different branches of the family for some reason changed the spelling to McKane (my Mo mother's name) or McKean or McKeane. Some of the original McCain family emigrated from Ireland to New Brunswick in the 1800's. If you are interested in finding out more about the Irish McCain/McKane/McKean connection, please drop me a line.
