have a James Mckean who married a Mary Hay in 1843, in Maybole Scotland. They had one child that we know of named William born in 1865 in Tarbolton SCOT. Asssuming that they had more as this is a 20 year difference! Last known residence was at a place called Spring Gardens, near Ayr. Apparantly James was a forrester and their son was a gameskeeper. William married Jessie Harvie(y) in 1890 in Ayr and had my grandfather in 1891 in Kirkoswald. know that jessie and William split up and then she married a man with the last name of day. Where did William go after that? Would like to know if he had other family as well and what happened to them
