Hi all, I've been working on tracking my McKeever line from J.B. McKeever who was born around 1809ish, probably in Philadelphia, m1-Elizabeth B. --- m2 Susan Marsh Engle, d. 1874 Chester city, Delaware Co, PA. His children were Jemima (McKeever) Taylor b. 1840, Edward S Taylor b.1849, Laura (McKeever) Shanafelt, and Marion (McKeever) Irving. It's looking like the eldest children, Jemima and Edward, were probably born in Philadelphia. I've located some McKeevers who identify themselves as relations to the above branch and they are all from Philadelphia: Elizabeth C McKeever (never married) b.abt 1832 d. 1915 Chester, PA, Harriet McKeever b. abt 1808 d. 1886ish Chester, PA, Captain John McKeever b. abt 1784 PA d. 1869 Philadelphia, PA
