Known children: Isabelle 1842; Jane 1844; Peter 1846; Mary 1847; Catherine 1849; Anne 1851; John 1855; Marjory Mcdougall 1858; Archibald 1861. John's mother was Jane/Jean; father's forename unknown. All of the children, except Isabelle and Jane were born in North Knapdale, Tarbert, Argyll. Jane and Isabelle were born in Kilmartin, Argyll.
