Charles Harris married Dorothea (Dolly)McKendree 27July1797 Greensville Co., VA---Dolly was the daughter of John McKendree and Mary Dudley of VA and the sister of Bishop William McKendree----According to the book"Life and Times of William McKendree" Charles and Dolly were the parents of 4 children. I have the names of 2, William McKendree Harris and Rev. James D. Harris----Also according to the same book Dolly with her husband and her father, brothers and sisters migrated in 1810 from VA to Sumner Co., TN----
Dolly McKendree Harris died 1835/AL, possibly in Jackson Co., AL.
I would GREATLY appreciate any info on this family. I have a good bit on the McKendree family but nothing on the Harris family.
